We've heard your complaints about downloads disappearing and we sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.
Investigations reveal that Android Cleaner Apps such as Phone Master is a major contributor to this issue :(.
While we work on a lasting solution, here is something you can do to prevent future occurrences.
Disabling the cleaning app - using Phone Master as an example.
1. Long press the app (Phone Master)
2. Tap 'App details/App info'
3. Tap 'Disable'
If you couldn't complete the above prompt, you can do this;
1. Open the Phone Master App on your device
2. Tap 'Smart Cleanup'
3. Turn off the scheduled cleanup
4. Tap 'Disable'
If you couldn't complete the second prompt as well, then do this last one;
1. Go to your phone Settings
2. Tap Applications
3. Tap 'Phone Master'
4. Then disable the permission to access your storage.
